Scooby Doo & The Ghoul School (1988)

'Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School' came out in 1988 and has Shaggy, Scooby Doo, & Scrappy arriving at their new jobs as the gym teacher for a school of monster girls. They not only have to deal with spooky kids, but a rival military academy and an evil witch named Revolta.

This is another fun classic for the family and a good way to introduce a young audience to the classic monsters. While the adult viewers will cringe at the many, many puns here it's still all in good spooky fun. The strongest element is the diverse cast of schoolgirls who each have their own personality and charm beyond their obvious homages. They're also likeable and outshine the titular characters which you may or may not see as a bad thing.

The voice work is top notch of course, with Casey Kasem and Don Messick return as Shaggy and Scooby returning along with Susan Blu and Frank Welker. Animation is about what you'd expect for its time, but for a made for television feature it's certainly of higher quality than most. With a fast pace, fun setting, memorable and funny characters, and a family friendly spooky atmosphere you're not losing out on giving 'Ghoul School' a watch with the kids this Halloween.
